Information Stored In The App

WorkshopMargin stores user-created customers, quotes, invoices, business settings, filament inventory, resin inventory, barcode or SKU values, print job details, pricing settings, and optional job photos locally on the user's device.

No Account Required

WorkshopMargin does not require a user account to use the local app features.

No Sale Of Personal Data

WorkshopMargin does not sell personal data and does not track users across other apps or websites.

Camera And Photos

WorkshopMargin may ask for camera access when the user chooses to scan a barcode or QR code for filament or resin inventory. WorkshopMargin may use the iOS photo picker when the user chooses to attach a job photo to an invoice. These actions are started by the user.

Sharing And Printing

If the user chooses to print, export, message, or otherwise share a quote, invoice, receipt, or job photo, that action is handled by iOS and the destination selected by the user. Shared content may include customer details, job details, prices, business contact information, payment instructions, and optional job photos.

Pricing Disclaimer

WorkshopMargin estimates 3D print prices from material, time, electricity, labor, tax, failed-print waste, machine-wear, maintenance, and markup values entered by the user. Estimates are for planning and invoicing support only. They are not financial, legal, tax, safety, or engineering advice.
